ello, my name is Wes Becher, and here is a little bit about myself:
My wife and I have both been members of the Church of Scientology since 1971. We were living in upstate New York in the college town of New Paltz. We were both artists but doing very little in life. Then we were introduced to two books, Dianetics: the Modern Science of Mental Health and Science of Survival, both written by L. Ron Hubbard.
After reading these books we wanted to know more data about the Scientology religious philosophy so we moved into New York City where there was a Church.
After being students for 2 years we also joined the staff at this Church and became ministers so we could apply this religious philosophy to others in counseling sessions.
During this time we started a family (we have two children). We were associated with the New York Church through 1981.
At that time we moved to the West Coast and continued our counseling and study of Scientology and Dianetics here. We live there today.
Besides counseling, I am a music composer and arranger, currently writing screenplays. We changed the condition of our lives dramatically with the daily application of the religious philosophy of Scientology to the problems and situations that we encounter.
We have raised our children using this same philosophy. Both our children, now 18 and 23, are Scientologists and apply Scientology technology daily in their own lives.
