About Myself

H ello, my name is Wendy Honnor, and here is a little bit about myself:

I am an active Scientology Volunteer Minister. People come to me for help with their friendships, marriages, jobs and health. I have a room set aside in my home where I see them. Sometimes I audit them (a form of Scientology counseling) and sometimes I work with them to handle their problems and write up a program for them to implement in their lives. I recommend L. Ron Hubbard tapes and books which can give them the technology for their particular needs. Every week I see lives change and improve as the problems of the past are confronted and handled and the problems of the present are confronted and handled using L. Ron Hubbard's technology. Some of these people are Scientologists but more often they are non-Scientologists who were sent to me by a Scientologist friend or are people I have met in my daily life.

I am particularly interested in the ethics of politics and local Government. I believe that if we were to handle drugs and crime we would be a long way toward creating a society where man can climb to greater heights.

One of my biggest wins since becoming a Scientologist is learning how to discern between truth and lies. I learned this in the Scientology Handbook Course. Now when I watch the news or read an article in a newspaper, or somebody gives me some verbal information/opinion - I can accurately judge whether what I am reading or hearing is truthful. This makes watching the news interesting rather than upsetting because I can see what a beat up the press is and how it actually creates our problems for us.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if somebody started up a newspaper or TV station that only reported truth - not just an opinion or a vested interest viewpoint - and had 50% good news and 50% bad news ? I get frustrated searching through the newspaper looking for tidbits of good news and stories which tell about the good side of life and humanity. Believe me it is out there in our society but it is simply not newsworthy in the eyes of the news media.

Wouldn't it be great if true human rights meant giving rights to those who earned it - not giving rights to those who make life intolerable for others.

Imagine a justice system that was based on truth, not on the oratory and manipulation skills of some lawyer or barrister or the loopholes of some law or Bill.

Wouldn't it be great if we could walk on the street at night with safety and we could leave our windows open as we slept with no fear of intrusion.

These are the aims of Scientology and they are my aims. I am glad that I belong to the group that is doing something about it. I am not a spectator in life I am a participant![End]
