If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Scientology: A New Slant on Life.
This book really helped me with my work and personal life, by giving me a real and workable knowledge of what REALLY makes people tick. Not fancy theories but real observable and practical knowledge that is simple, easily understood and obviously true, yet profoundly enlightening. The other books I highly recomend are:
Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health—a definitive text on what the mind really is and how it works. This book should be mandatory reading for anyone in health professions.
Science of Survival—this book is more advanced for a deeper insight into the nature of man.
