If someone were to ask me, what is the one thing I got out of Scientology, I would have to say the ability to act in any situation and knowing that fact. In one word, that comes down to “confidence.” In a world without guarantees, it is the closest thing to one.

     I am a teacher, having taught most grades from preschool through adult. I have taught classes with only 12 up to classes with over a hundred. Each time I walk into a classroom and stand in front of a class, I know I will perform well and the result will be that my students will walk away with more understanding. I expect them to leave with the feeling that they’ve just met the best teacher they’ve ever seen.

     I approach my whole life with the attitude that I am a professional and that everything I do must be done in that manner. That takes a lot more confront and effort than I have at times but, that’s when I have confidence that I will.

     Now where did this feeling of confidence come from? Actually, most of it came from the training in Scientology that I received, especially in learning to train others. The rest came from the auditing that I received. This counseling helped me handle my past upsets and failures, not just get over them and move on, but really see what and understand what had happened so it wouldn’t happen again.

     So, with confidence, I am now teaching in a new area I didn’t even know existed a few years ago, the Internet. I did and now I’m teaching high school students and adults how to design web sites, web mastering and supporting several school web sites. And I’m having the best time of my life.
