ello, my name is Susan Becher, and here is a little bit about myself:
My husband and I have both been members of Scientology since 1971. We were living in Upstate New York in the college town of New Paltz in 1971. We were both artists but doing very little in life. Then we were introduced to two books Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health and Science of Survival, both written by L. Ron Hubbard. After reading these books we wanted to know more data about the Scientology philosophy so we moved into New York City where there was a Church. After being students for 2 years we also joined the staff at this Church and became ministers so we could apply this philosophy to others in counseling sessions.
During this time we started a family (we have two children). We were associated with the New York Church through 1981. At that time we moved to the West Coast and continued our counseling and study of Scientology and Dianetics here. We live here today. Besides counseling, my husband Wes is a music composer and arranger and is currently writing screenplays. We changed the condition of our lives dramatically with the daily application of the philosophy of Scientology to daily problems and situations that we encountered. We have raised our children using this same philosophy. Both our children now 18 and 23 are students themselves in the Scientology philosophy and apply it daily in their own
lives.
