ello, my name is Stan Tabor, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I am a happily married man in my mid 40s with a wonderful and lovely wife and two great kids. I also have a wonderful three year old grandson and another on the way. We also have two male cats, Cheetah and Mozart who are amazingly tolerant and good natured. We have a nice house with a big yard.

      Construction is my trade and I own my own company.

      I like to hike, ski, run various races and travel. We enjoy a night out at the movies or on the town. I like to read good books and my favorite author is L. Ron Hubbard. His fiction is captivating and his books on life and philosophy are truly unsurpassed.

      I like gardening and parties, climbing mountains and camping. Actually I enjoy life. But prior to November 1976 I could not have said that.

      One day in that particular month I had just flown back from a trip from Mexico to Portland Oregon and was awaiting a bus trip back to my home town when a lady named Gladys approached and started talking to me. When she asked if I’d like to see where she worked I said “sure”. She worked at the Dianetics Center which meant nothing to me. I read a few pages of the Dianetics book and realized that maybe there was hope for my condition. A gentleman asked if there was anything I would like to change in my life and boy did I have some answers for him!

      He then told me that the first thing to do was a course called the “Communications Course”, but that I lived too far away to do the course. I demanded to do the course and said I’d be there every weekend! It was the most amazing course I had ever done! It has only been surpassed by the courses and counseling I have done since in Dianetics and Scientology. And since that first course, my life has steadily improved.
