If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health.
This book really helped me with getting involved in the first place! It gave me an insight into what psychosomatic problems are and what causes them. (Psychosomatic means physical difficulties that are caused by the mind rather than physical reasons).
