ello, my name is Rosie Pech, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I am a professional writer and art director for advertising. I’ve also written screenplay for television. I hosted a show called “Poet’s Corner” for 2 years, where I read my own work and interviewed other Canadian poets.

      I have two grown “kids.” My son is studying to be a photographer and my daughter is a budding actress and producer.

      I have raised my kids by myself and anyone who has done this knows this is a challenge; and that remaining best friends throughout this journey is a real accomplishment.

      We are not a “normal” family and being artists, we have had our share of being viewed by the middle class mores. We tend to keep odd hours and turn the living room into a photo shoot or a rehearsal space on occasion. It is not uncommon to see dry ice or flames emitting from the dining room. It’s funny, because we don’t do drugs and we are in no way destructive people. We are what the fearful fear most: people who are truly alive and truly themselves.
