     I am an engineer who has been in Scientology since 1979. I am married and have two children.

     Being an engineer, the most appealing aspect about Scientology is its workable philosophy-- how basic concepts and thoughts are fundamental to the mechanics of life. These are workable ideas that can be applied with very predictable results to make things / situations in life, better. This is not unlike the discipline of Engineering where basic concepts are applied to make / create physical universe products on a very predictable basis,
