I became active in Scientology in 1978. At the time I was going to Florida State University and I was looking to create a better life for myself. I wanted a rewarding, exciting life and I was searching. I came to a few dead ends in that. Some of the paths available as a career were not totally fulfilling or were too narrow in their application.

     I wanted something that could be applicable to individuals, groups, families, and helped mankind. I really wanted to have a great life, help others, not limit my zone of activities, learn about life and not have limits as to how much I could accomplish.

     You could say I was dreaming, but at the age of 20 I had not lost hope for this kind of life. When I found Scientology I was amazed and so happy I had found what I was looking for. At first, because of some past betrayals, I studied it with a Skeptical eye. But I found the teachings of L. Ron Hubbard applicable and provable. I started to experience gains I had known were possible but had not been able to achieve in other self-improvement studies. My awareness of life, my understanding of others and control of my mind were increasing at a rapid rate and the best thing is that I was learning the techniques to help others achieve these gains too. I made my decision then to make this my full-time activity. I have been a full-time Scientologist since then.

     The only thing that surpasses the incredible realizations I’ve had about myself as a spiritual being, life, death, the physical universe and understanding others have been the gains I have been able to give to others.

     I’m very proud to be a Scientologist and to be able to help others in any area of their lives. I know people need help, because I know we are using only a small percentage of our full potential. In Scientology, I found out why and so can you. With Scientology we can increase our abilities and achieve the goals of past religions, a better civilization!!!
