I was introduced to Scientology in 1972 as I was visiting a friend in California before I was to attend a graduate school. After one "simple" communication course I knew this was the place where one could really learn something special. I was very impressed by the statement "If it isn't true for you it isn't true." and had always been looking for a philosophy that lived by this ideal. I now apply this basic Scientology datum to all areas of my life and it has enabled me to excel beyond my greatest hopes and at the same time made me more able to help other less fortunate. From special Olympics to inter city gangs, to helping make a city safer. I have become an active member in this society and a part of the solution to it's problems.
