Most of all, since studying and using Scientology, I have found that I have entered an extremely EXCITING journey of discovery about who we are, where we have come from, and what we can do about where we are going.
Most important of all for me personally is that through studying the techniques of Scientology that enable one to help others very effectively, I have been privileged to be able to pursue this purpose as a satisfying career, for the last 28 years - and I see before me many more years of witnessing people transforming the misery of everyday human life into a happy, healthy, and vibrant existence for themselves and for those around them.
When I compare how I am now to how I was before Scientology, its astonishing. Its like I was in a perpetual FOG before, that I could just dimly perceive through, and I was very confused, nervous, uncertain and sad inside - even though I was considered quite brilliant and successful by people around me.
Since studying and most of all using the very practical tools of Scientology, I have gained an incredible degree of inner strength and confidence and peace with myself, which would take much more than an atomic bomb to touch - and this inner confidence just seems to grow and grow each year as I continue to help those around me as I have been helped.
The tremendous thing about Scientology is that it doesn't add ANYTHING to you - it does not require you to change your beliefs, or to start bowing down to some statue - it simply shows you the way to FREE YOURSELF from an incredible amount of mental garbage - and Presto! - you recover your true self . And your true self turns out to be ENORMOUSLY capable, happy, curious, and even far more brilliant and KIND than you ever dared hope.
One of the coolest things that happens as you make this journey is: you are no longer alone - you learn so much about what makes people "tick", and how to communicate with them that you can establish friendships with people like yourself that will easily last a lifetime - in just an afternoon. And with very little effort and NO worry about how it will turn out.
Words cannot begin to express my gratitude to a very remarkable human being, L. Ron Hubbard, for sticking with it through thick and thin to develop the marvelous body of knowledge and application that is Scientology, and especially for taking great pains to make sure ANYONE could understand it and use it.
So, my advice is: THINK FOR YOURSELF.
Get a book or tape by L. Ron Hubbard and get off by yourself and look it over - and take an introductory course, which only takes a couple evenings. Like a new friend of mine said after he did that a few weeks ago, it could be: "...the greatest thing I have ever done for myself."
