ello, my name is Peggy Dougherty, and here is a little bit about myself:
I am a housewife and proud mother of four children, the oldest 18 and the youngest 4 months. About 7 years ago, I ended an office career to devote more time to my family. I have found it to be one of the biggest adventures of my life. Like most families, ours is hectic with a jumble of sports, dance, cheer-leading, clubs, etc., etc., and foremost giving our children an education they deserve and a safe environment. And also, like most families, we have our ups and downs. I have found that the techniques developed by L. Ron Hubbard help us get over these, while greatly improving our quality of life. People express Arts in many ways. I feel children are art in motion and need to be loved. and helped to flourish in every way possible.
I also like hand crafts, sewing, cross stitch, quilting and dabble in stained glass work when I make the time to do these things... but spring is here and gardening and bird/animal watching come first!
I first found out about Scientology when I wandered in from the street to a Dianetics Center in Miami. I was curious about the Personality test that was offered. I took the test and realized that there were some things about myself that I would like to improve. I took a basic Communications Course and it changed my life. I had ideas that I wanted to tell others, but was just a bit reserved about communicating them. And Id worry about what others thought, which would make me look in to myself more. After this course I learned how to look out. I figured that if this basic course had so much to offer that Scientology deserved a closer look. That was 22 years
ago.
