The way I got into Scientology was when I moved to Sydney after being brought up in a small country town in the Hunter Valley. At a seemingly very early age I began to feel that there was something more to life than what we were necessarily led to believe. I had an innate sense about this - I just knew.
So, at the ripe old age of 16 I headed for the "big smoke" and after a couple of years I moved into a house with some people, one of whom was drummer in a band. He was a Scientologist and we used to talk a lot. He showed me bits and pieces from books and we would discuss life, the universe and everything.
My first course was a communication course, which I started with the help of Alex (the drummer), when I was 18 years old. I was always pretty self-conscious in that department and longed to have much better communication.
The results from that course were unbelievable for me. They were far, far greater than I'd ever expected. I was thoroughly blown out !!!! I felt so free, so comfortable and so happy that I literally ran from place to place.
Since that time I have done many other Scientology courses, read many books and had a lot of auditing (Scientology counseling). I have found Scientology to be a life-saving thing for me, giving me answers to questions that I feel no other body of spiritual information could.
The many things that life confronts a person with - work, relationships, communication, study, money, etc. and the many questions and problems that are associated with these areas of life are answered.
Scientology is a comprehensive thing - it covers all aspects of life. I would recommend Scientology to anyone who has problems and needs any type of help or improvement in their life.
Just think of what you would like most in life to handle and find out about it.
