ello, my name is Pat Collins, and here is a little bit about myself:

     Hello! Not a unique observation here, but the internet is really shrinking the world, isn’t it? 100 years ago all we could get to know were the people in our little neighborhoods!

     I am a bookkeeper, the mother of three daughters and a Scientologist. I also have a new found interest in pottery after making the lovely discovery of how calming and cheering the process of throwing a pot on the wheel can be - Now, on to life sculpture.

     The Scientology church in Portland, Oregon I go to is called a Celebrity Centre as it is set up to work with artists and enhance their abilities in their particular art. I originally contacted Scientology in the late 70’s. My sister was interested and after hearing a TV show that told me a lot of weird stuff about it, I was worried about her. In order to see for myself what was what, I read a book, talked to some people at the local church (who seemed pretty "normal") and then got some help with a physical problem I’d been having by means of a Scientology assist. Two weeks later I realized I had been free of the pain ever since, even though I’d had it nearly constantly for three months. I knew there was something to it at this point.
