I had been looking for “answers” most of my life. I knew there had to be something more to life but I had no idea of what it was. I read all the philosophers and felt vaguely inspired yet disappointed because I couldn’t see how their “technology” would improve my life at all. Then, my boy friend, who was a college professor, went to visit his sister in Boston for a week at the beginning of summer vacation. He came back with a suitcase full of books, all by L. Ron Hubbard. We read all summer and I thought I was onto something this time.

     Then we started doing some courses. One of the first courses I did was the “Hubbard Qualified Scientologist” course. This was a great course for me because being a New Yorker I was a pretty skeptical person and this course contained things I could try out and see for myself if they worked. I did this and my life changed dramatically in many areas. I was really excited but also I felt a calmness I had never felt before. With Dianetics and Scientology I KNEW I was onto something!
