I remember the happiness and enthusiasm I felt as a child, how I looked forward to growing up and loved to make people happy. I was intelligent with an IQ of 140, had a lot of musical talent and I loved drawing, singing and acting.

      Then, things starting going really wrong. By the time I was 11, I was failing in school, couldn’t get along with my family and began taking drugs. There was so much I didn’t understand about myself and life. I had no idea what was going on. Other people became a mystery to me and I became worse and worse at getting along with them. I even dropped out of school. However, I had this idea that no matter what happened, I would always have my intelligence.

      I had a rude awakening at the age of 17 when I first walked into a Church of Scientology after many years of taking drugs and being hopeless about it all. I saw the results of the IQ test that they administer to me. My IQ had dropped to 110! I was devastated. But this only confirmed what I had feared was the case anyway. I was ruined!

      I was in the right place, though. I was started on my first Scientology course. The Communications Course. From there I did the Purification Rundown which handled the bad effects the drugs had had on me. I also received spiritual counseling, called auditing, which are very precise processes directed specifically to me to help eliminate the barriers I had to understanding myself and living a full life. The most amazing thing of all is that I found out who I really was! And I regained all of my intelligence!

      It is now 28 years since I took my first step in Scientology and I have never stopped learning and applying what I have learned. Not only to help myself, but other people as well. I really understand who these other people are now and am able to get along and enjoy many fulfilling relationships.

      I am happily married and have three drug free children and a wonderful grandson, all of whom have benefited from the knowledge, understanding and workability of Scientology Technology.
