I have had so many "wins" since becoming a Scientologist it's difficult to know where to begin!

     I was just getting by in life before I found Scientology. I was living with a man I cared for deeply, but we were very unhappy as a couple (that's an understatement to say the least!) Career-wise, I was working as a factory laborer. Since I became a Scientologist, my "significant other" and I married and we are far happier than most couples I know. I am still working for the same company, but I have been promoted three times and am now managing two departments. Those are my measurable personal successes. On a subjective level, I can't begin to describe how much happier I am since becoming a practicing Scientologist. My life finally makes sense to me.

     None of this happened overnight, but I can assure you that none of it would have happened without the training and counseling I received as a Scientologist. I have been able to help relatives and friends as well.

     I have a thirteen-year old relative who was having trouble in school a couple of years ago. His teacher recommended an outside consultation with a psychiatrist who wanted to put this child on drugs so he would be better behaved in school. As it turned out, this boy was three grades behind in his reading level, but the school didn't attribute his learning problem to that small detail! (I would be surprised if you didn't know of some child in similar circumstances.) I took him to a tutor who was trained in Applied Scholastics. In ten hours worth of tutoring, she had given him the phonics which had been omitted from the public school curriculum. He was tutored through two Applied Scholastics study courses and put on a reading program. Within months he was caught up to the rest of his classmates. It was so very rewarding when he told me, "Did you ever have a book you just couldn't put down? Well, I have one now." This from a child who had hated reading!

     Another friend was suffering from substance dependence, and had tried conventional medical methods to kick the habit at two different in-patient facilities.

     My husband and I got him to go to a Narconon center for treatment, and this man's family cannot believe the change in him. More than one family member has thanked us for returning him to the ranks of the living, and his appreciation is much more enthusiastic than theirs. I am a Scientologist because SCIENTOLOGY WORKS.
