ello, my name is Martha E. Pena, and here is a little bit about myself:
I have two jobs. One of them is working in a public school as an Educational Aide, assisting the teacher with pupils. In working with kids, I apply LRH Study Technology. In the subject of study there are barriers which each kid faces on a daily basis. From my knowledge of the technology, I can detect which barrier the kid is facing and I help him get through. I have seen and heard from teachers and assisting aides, that kids are dumb and that the reason they are not getting or learning something is most likely because they might have a learning disability or something like that, when actually it is themselves who are lacking the knowledge on what to do to help the child. From the years I have been working in a public school, I have seen that things go worse and worse every day as far as the level of the child's learning. I have also seen "new programs" or "new ideas" implemented to help kids. So far, I have not seen one that works! If each teacher and assistant knew the study technology of L. Ron Hubbard, it would definitely be a "Big Difference." Kids will be actually learning and teachers will not be pulling their hair trying to figure what's wrong with the kids.
My other job is working in a college, the Hubbard College of Administration International. My duties are to help students get arrived and started on their training. I help them with their accommodations and transportation, if they are from out of town. I ensure that they have their materials ready.
The way I got into Scientology was that I was looking for a job as a receptionist. At that time, I was studying in a Business College and the counselor told me that she had a place for me to work. I got hired at the Hubbard College of Administration International, formerly, World Institute of Scientology Enterprises LA. At the beginning, everything was different for me. I started studying the technology and I saw that it worked. I remember that I was studying a course about the basics of a company. At that time, I was also working in a public school. I was helping the bilingual coordinator with some paper work, testing the students, etc. There were also other aides helping. I started applying some data that I have learned from the course I was taking at the Hubbard College. Little by little, the bilingual coordinator was just asking me to help her. She told me that I was basically doing the job of three aides together. All that I was doing was just applying what I had
learned!
