If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health.
This book really helped me with understanding others and also gave me the tools to help others.
Also I recommend you read The Way to Happiness. This handbook on ethics and morals validated my own personal values. This book is something I can give to others to help improve themselves or when my values are challenged by others.
