ello, my name is Lydia Beckham, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I think of myself as a very ordinary person like anybody else. I have not won the Nobel Peace prize or done anything that ever got printed up in the newspaper. But to me, just being able to enjoy life is a miracle, because I had been miserable and began taking drugs. Before Scientology, I didn’t think I would ever amount to anything or ever achieve my ordinary dreams of having a home and family, and being stable enough to make friends and hold a job. I drifted apart from my parents as a teenager. I left home right after high school, started college and dropped out of college the second semester, and started taking drugs. With the communication tools I learned in Scientology I developed a close relationship with my parents, and got my cousins together for reunions every year and found a long-lost cousin that we had all inadvertently lost touch with over 30 years ago. Although I cannot have children I am married to my best friend of over 20 years and have a loving family of dogs and cats. I have been a legal word processor for the past 15 years, but am planning to soon get back into my true love - art. Another one of my interests is my work for Criminon, supervising extension courses for my many wonderful students, which are inmates in prisons.
