I took my first course in Scientology 28 years ago. From the first course I took to the present I have found myself becoming more and more able to handle and enjoy my life. Probably the most important thing that Scientology has given me is a better understanding of myself and others. When you understand why you act a certain way in a given situation, and why others act the way they do, you can deal with yourself and your relationships much better. There is a calmness that comes with understanding.

     L. Ron Hubbard was a great man who made many great discoveries about human relationships, why they are the way they are, and how one can improve them. When you read his books or listen to his lectures you often find yourself saying "Yeah!" or "Of course!" or "Exactly". This is because he is describing the things we deal with everyday. He made observations of how things are and uncovered some basic laws underlying why they are that way. Mr. Hubbard was an explorer, a new age voyager in the unexplored territory of the mind and spirit. That's the basics of it all. Anyone who wants to understand themselves and the people around them better -- get a book or tape lecture. You will be glad you did.
