I got involved in Scientology because I was looking for a way to actually change conditions and problems in my life. I'd tried many things, but none of those practices actually told me how to change anything, their purpose was just to help me understand & that wasn't enough. I wanted to change situations & conditions. The first course I took made a big change in my life. My father had been a rather oppressive force in my life. He tended to judge & criticize me.

     I didn't really know how to deal with this. I took the Communication Course & learned invaluable tools. I learned how to stand up to my father & tell him not to do this. Not only did he stop doing this, but he apologized for the way he'd been treating me. This was probably the first honest communication we had ever had.

     The success from Scientology, any time I've had a problem or difficulty in life, there's been a tool. I've found in Scientology that's helped me change & fix the problem. It's been miraculous.
