ello, my name is Linda Headstream and here is a little bit about myself:

     I am 44 years of age and an administrator of a private school. I consider education vital and wanted to make sure my five-year-old got the basics and never lost her love of learning. So I am helping to create that environment.

     In this position I have become very concerned about the decline of literacy of our children going through public schools and the rampant use of Ritalin and other behavior modification drugs. It is all so unnecessary. Our school tutoring service gets miracles every day. The most recent was a student in seventh grade who read at a second grade level and after four months of tutoring was reading at the end of eighth grade level - and he was a very slow student.

     There are many miracle stories from our school that will give any parent hope that their child is not actually disabled and the problem is easily solved.
