Before Scientology, I couldn't communicate well. I always thought it was okay. After all, when I was introduced to others, my parents would say, "Oh, she's shy." Other adults would come up to me and say, "Oh, you're shy." It seemed like the right thing for a little girl to be.

     But, I am now an adult. I am a nurse, and a nurse being shy when speaking with the doctor could kill a patient.

     The communication course straightened this out for me. I can communicate and do it well. It has saved my career.
