This book really helped me with information on how to study which exists in no other course or study technique. I was a good student before, but found myself unable to grasp things from time to time and no solution to hand to help. I can now study things many times faster than before, AND be able to fully use the information when I am through studying. You probably know of someone that studied a subject and couldn't remember what they studied after they passed the test. This book not only provides an understanding of why this happens, but it also gives you the tools so as to not have it happen when you are studying.
The best way for me to explain this is that the "effort" and pain that I had associated with the study of certain subjects went away. Give the speed with which things are changing in even the most basic job position (not to mention more technical professions), continued learning throughout life is not just a good thing, it is vital to simply stay even. Study might as well be a pleasant experience if it is so vital. If you do nothing else in your life, read the Basic Study Manual.
