In 1989, I walked into a Scientology center to "improve my life". At first, the "thing" that I wanted to handle was the fact that I was upset due to a past relationship. My ex-girlfriend and I had broken up and I could not get this out of my mind. This might not seem to be such a big problem but it sure was. I could not focus on present-time situations nor could I enjoy present time pleasures. That all changed in one hour of Scientology counsiling called "auditing." I was able to rid myself of this burden and I felt great.
Another situation that I wanted to overcome was my drug problem. Many might not have considered that I had a drug problem, but I did. Some people may have considered it normal to smoke marijuana on a daily basis. This may not have seemed so bad to many of my friends, but I was living it and it wasn't pleasant. As I did drugs, I backed out of life, more and more. Finally, I got to the point where I couldn't properly interact with others nor could I do anything without smoking pot. At this point, a friend recommended a Scientology procedure called "The Purification Rundown". This helped me to rid the body of drug and chemical residuals that were the very foundation of my drug problem. My perception of depth and color returned to me as well as my overall vitality. With such dramatic results, I knew that Scientology did everything it claimed to, and more!
Since then, the study and practice of Scientology has helped me to get back into the "driver's seat" in life. I can cause things to happen. I can and did start my own business (which is successful); I can approach and communicate with anyone I choose. With the aid of Scientology study technology, I can learn and apply any subject. There's not one aspect of my life that hasn't been positively affected by the use of Scientology.
This may all seem "unreal" or "too good to be true." I know that many people have reached out for help in the past and finally found out that real help wasn't available. Well, this really isn't the case. I am very glad that I reached for Scientology. If you want a better life, I recommend that you reach as well.
