ello, my name is Kathleen McDowell, and here is a little bit about myself:

     Back in the 70's in a mid-west university my then future-husband asked me what I wanted to do in life. I told him I wanted to find out questions to answers like "What is Man?" and "Why is he here?". We laughed but, in truth I was serious. After college I continued my quest as a wife and dental hygienist out in the work-a-day world in Austin, Texas, where my husband went to grad-school. I read books and magazines and papers and talked to people about these subjects.

     Through my independent studies I came to the conclusion that a person lived more than once and that things that happened in one life carried on over into later lives. I decided that this related directly to the answers I was looking for. I read about people who had been hypnotically regressed to find out about their past lives. I read that UT Austin was researching hypnotic regression. I was keenly interested, except I detested the idea of hypnosis. So, I kept looking.

     One day while at a local convenience store I saw a poster about a seminar on " past lives". I went to that seminar and learned that among other things, Dianetics and Scientology, without using drugs or hypnosis, help a person learn about their past lives and what effect those lives may be having on the person's current life. I have been involved in Dianetics and Scientology ever since and I am continuing to find the answers to my questions.
