ello, my name is John Rosko, and here is a little bit about myself:

     At present I am a design consultant, specializing in injection molds.

     Two years ago I sold my share of a company that I co-founded.

     I first became interested in Scientology in 1953. I was travelling around Australia on a motorcycle; working at various jobs to pay my expenses. One of the places that I worked was at Tinaroo Falls, near Atherton Tableland, in Northern Queensland. I picked up a copy of "Reader's Digest" and read in it an article on Dianetics. The article really got to me. I remember wishing that I was in the States so that I could find out more about it.

     After about 3 months, I continued on my journey to Darwin. After arriving there, while having a meal at a coffee shop, I spoke of this article, to a complete stranger; the very first person that I had met since arriving at that town. Incredibly enough, this man was leaving the next day to take a major course in Scientology in Melbourne. He was probably at that time, the only Scientologist in the whole Northern Territory of Australia!

     He gave me the Scientology book that he had been reading: Scientology: A History of Man. That's how I got in!
