If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Dianetics: The Evolution of a Science.
This book really helped me with understanding the mind and how come people behave the way they do. This is an introduction to the subject written in a lively, adventurous style which is a lot of fun. But do not be misled into underestimating the very all-embracing and sophisticated subject being introduced!
