ello, my name is Helen Whitley, and here is a little bit about myself:

      I grew up in Oakland, California. I have a mom, dad, 2 brothers, and no grandparents. I lived in the same house my first 18 years, and then I went to college at U. C. Davis. I majored in Resource Sciences. (This is a combination of plant & animal sciences, Geology, Meteorology, and water and soil sciences.) I specialized in water science.

     After graduating from Davis, I worked for the U. S. Forest Service for a couple of years in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. There were no openings in Hydrology coming up, so I moved to Sacramento and worked for a retail nursery.

     I did my spiritual search while working there. I came on staff at the Church of Scientology, Mission of River Park in 1990. I really enjoy working for the Church because I get to see people turn their lives around and be happy. When I'm not working, I like to read, hike, walk my dogs, bake, view art, and work on jigsaw puzzles.
