About Myself

H ello, my name is Felix Lopez, and here is a little bit about myself:

I was born in Cuba in 1952. I arrived in the US in 1967 where I finished high school in 1969. I was awarded a scholastic scholarship to Washington University, where I majored in Chemical Engineering and then went on to get an MBA in 1977. Although I had accomplished much in spite of language and economic barriers, I did not feel quite happy and was always at war with myself.

It was in the summer of 1977 that I was invited to take a communicaton course in Scientology, and although I was skeptical I decided I had nothing to lose. Within a few hours of doing certain communication exercises, I realized I could communicate with others at work and socially better than ever and that I felt quite fine about myself. I certainly wanted to know more about a subject that had produced such fantastic results in such a short time, so I bought and read some books by L. Ron Hubbard.

While reading Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health on the chapter titled "The Reactive Mind," I finally realized that my search was over, that I had found a subject that in its precision and predictibility of results matched any of the exact sciences I had studied--I had found The science of the mind.

From that point on, my life has gone UP, UP, UP! Through the application of the fundamental principles I learned in Scientology, I feel very well and confident about myself - stably so. I have a wonderful and happy family and have achieved success in my community. But my happiest moments come when I help others discover the power of Scientology and see them start changing their lives for the better. [End]
