I grew up in the 60's - the drop-out, turn on and turn off generation. I experimented and abused a number of drugs as well as alcohol. If there was any prevailing philosophy I was aware of at the time, it was "if it feels good do it." Needless to say, years of drug abuse took a heavy toll on my health, my personality and most of all, my morality. I was barely alive - feeling extremely dull, listless and hopeless about life. The lights were going out for me by the end of 1969.

     Then a good friend of mine, already a practicing Scientologist, introduced me to Scientology. Ever so hesitantly, still very hopeless about life and myself, I did some introductory courses at a Scientology Mission. The changes I went through were sometimes startling as I began to wake up as a spiritual being. I did a complete drug rehabilitation program which took sometime but I was completely cleaned up.

     My spirit renewed and my belief in myself and my future restored, I felt that sense of wonder and excitement again about life that I hadn't known since I was a kid. Scientology works! Believe in yourself again - look into Scientology - use it in your life and your life will change for the better too.
