If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health.
This book really helped me with among many other things, through application of the principles in this book, I handled an inability to talk sincerely to women, drug addiction, chronic migraine headaches, depression and the "need" to avoid life instead of living it.
