ello, my name is Cyndy Nelson, and here is a little bit about myself:
I was born and raised in Toronto. I completed secondary school as an Ontario Scholar and entered the University of Torontos Faculty of Music on a First Class Honours diploma in Oboe from the Royal Conservatory of Music.
At this time I also became involved with Scientology and started my training in it and eventually joined staff at the local church as a course supervisor, got married to a dear friend and had a wonderful child. After 23 years of service mostly in an executive capacity, I took a sabbatical to do more training.
Upon returning I once again got a chance to teach, taking a position at the Toronto Ability School, a private school using the Hubbard study method in educating children. The following year I engaged in another phase of my training program and returned to an educational position with the Art of Management, training healthcare professionals throughout Ontario, Manitoba and Alberta in Mr. Hubbards administrative technology for running their practices, a position I still hold and thoroughly enjoy.
For hobbies I do arts and crafts, I garden (I love gardening!) and I compose and play my own music. My favourite sport is hockey -- Go, Leafs! Go! I love traveling with my family and otherwise spending time with them. But I think the thing I find most rewarding is in helping people, and seeing their frowns and confusions melt into smiles. What I have learned in Scientology has made it possible and fun for me to do
this.
