ello, my name is Charles Steele, and here is a little bit about myself:

     For thirty-one years I have been a dilettante, that is, one who dabbles in a lot of different areas and specializes in none. I presently work for Boeing aircraft and have tried every job from car sales to finance manager. I was even in the Marine Corps for six years and served in the Gulf.

     I have been married almost a year now to my lovely wife Vanessa. We met at the Church of Scientology and were married there as well. We both agree that without Scientology we probably wouldn't have lasted three months. However, we have and our marriage seems as fresh as the day we fell in love. (Our secret is the Success Through Communication Course!)

     I am planning on being a full time auditor (one who uses Dianetics and Scientology processes to help others improve their lives). Vanessa is a Staff Member at the Mission in Wichita.

     The funny thing about how I became a Scientologist is that very few go this route. Most people find out from a friend or get a call or something in the mail. Of course, I had to be different. I picked up the phone book one day and looked under the heading of "Churches." The first one I came across that had both the word "Church" and "Science" in it just didn't register. It didn't seem like what I was searching for. The second one was . . . you guessed it!! The Church of Scientology! I made an appointment to come in and within ten minutes I knew I'd found what I was looking for. I was home. I've been taking courses ever since.

     I've NEVER spent so much time doing things for myself and really enjoying life. Not just occasionally, but all the time, whatever I'm doing!
