If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read The Way to Happiness.
This book really helped me get a viewpoint on life that I had not had before and helped me to confront some issues that had been making my life much harder to live. The book was very easy for me to read and I have read it several times since. Once I read it, I knew how I could apply the data that was covered in it's pages.
