Recently I've been handling a situation at work because I felt I had to. It wasn't really my job to do so, but once I'd took on the responsibility I got full backing and power to implement things I wanted done and the way I wanted them done, and the outcome was that the company was able to have enough work coming from that particular department to enable us to start processing an order worth £700,000 that had previously looked not possible.
The funny thing is a year ago I wouldn't have felt I could do that or have the confidence to have a go at this.
