ello, my name is Bob Aldrich, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I have lived a long and sometimes very eventful life. I am 52 years of age, have travelled to the four corners of the world, including Antarctica, The South Pacific, Siberia, Alaska, the Far East, Europe the United States, and Hollywood Blvd.

      I have lived in Los Angeles for the last thirty years and enjoy this place as a source point for new ideas and new things. One of my favorite things is to go out on my mountain bike and ride up to Hollywood and watch the latest movie release in the Chinese Theatre, a favorite tourist attraction here. I love to go there because very often I end up sitting near some extra or actor in the movie itself! At least on the more important movies, many of the people involved in its making will be there and cheer or jeer at trailers, credits and those actors or directors etc. in the film they love or hate.

      I have run an autobody shop for twenty years, but have always been a frustrated writer, writing newsletters for the business, and thousands of e-mails on the Internet. Of late, I have realized why I REALLY like Los Angeles. It is because of Hollywood, and my love for film, and because lurking deep in my beingness is the urge to write for the silver screen. So, realizing this after hanging around the area for so long, I have decided to get busy and write my first screenplay, a science fiction story about a young man who longs to see the universe, and finally finds a way to do so. Don't expect to see it in theatres next year, but the point is that I used Scientology to dig this buried goal of writing screenplays out of my subconscious and begin to work on it after realizing this was really ME, not a cliche. This has made me happier than anything in recent years, for now I have a real purpose to push towards. Not that banging other people's dents out isn't needed, but I was suffering from the urge to do something a little more creative.

      Most people's lives are nearly over by the time they turn 52. Mine is just beginning, and I have high hopes that I can achieve my goals because I know the tools of Scientology work, for I have dug myself out from the very dregs of existence, and I intend to use it to boost myself to the stars!
