If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Scientology: Fundamentals of Thought.
When I first saw this book I had been studying eastern religions in an effort to handle and improve myself. I thought I knew all about the mind from reading about these religions, and philosophies, such as Buddhism, Yoga and Gurdjieff.
When I first opened Fundamentals of Thought, I was amazed to find that I had never seen information like this and that it was very “dense“. There was a lot of information packed in such a small book, and it was USEFUL information! There was no part of the book that did not apply to something in my life. Studying that small book on my own time while working in Germany, it took me fully two months to absorb the information contained in it, and to apply it and see that it in fact DID work.
The person I “proved it on“ had changed dramatically for the better before my eyes and I knew I had to have more.
