If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health.
This is my favorite, because it open doors for me that I never knew existed. I was pursuing a degree in mental health out of a genuine desire to help others. I only had 2 classes to go to obtain my Bachelor's degree in psychology and dropped it completely when I read Dianetics.
