If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Dianetics: The Evolution of a Science.
This book really helped me with supporting and understanding my original thought "man is good in his basic nature" and so understand what went wrong that causes people to do things that are harmful to others.
